Our Story
We are the Rendon sisters, natives of Calexico, CA, and trained at Marion Gay Martinez (MGM) studios in ballet, jazz, and tap. We have each taken our own paths in life, but have returned to our roots and love for dance. Our mission at Top Hat Dance Studio is to share our passion for the art of dance in an environment that is relaxed and filled with joy. We aim to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which they can grow both mentally and physically as a dancer.

Join Our Dance Family
Ballet
Designed for aspiring ballerinas, these classes accommodate youngsters beginning at age 7. The instructors are committed to giving each student attention while also moving the class forward. We’re happy to answer any questions you have about this class or any others - simply contact us or stop by.
Tap
We offer beginner and intermediate tap classes for children, adults, and seniors alike. Interested in learning more? Get in contact with a member of our team, we’re happy to answer any questions.
Jazz
We offer beginner and intermediate jazz classes for all ages. Our amazing instructors make sure everyone gets individual attention while keeping the class collaborative. Come join us as we wave our jazz hands to some current and vivacious music that will keep you moving with joy and excitement!
Hip Hop
Introductory Hip Hop Kids (ages 5-8) focuses on rhythm, basic footwork, and musicality. Teen Hip Hop (ages 9-15) brings faster paced rhythms and music to more intricate choreography. Adult Hip Hop incorporates warm-ups and combinations which include fun choreography.
READY SET DANCE
READY SET DANCE is a combo class of BALLET, HIP HOP, and TAP for youngsters ages 2 1/2 to 5. This gender-neutral curriculum develops coordination, body awareness, strength, and flexibility both through visual and auditory instruction. Develop muscle strength, control, balance, and achieve coordination milestones like skipping and sequencing.
Pom
Bring your poms and game face to learn the art of songleading! Classes are full of fun, high energy pom, jazz, and hip hop combinations.
